This is no April fools joke folks. We have been blessed with an incredible opportunity to go to a national network level with our show. However with careful prayers and consideration we have decided to stay local in the tristate area until next year.
At that time review our decision after the release of our DVD on the market region. Until then please continue to watch us on Channel 422 Sundays at 11:00am and Mondays 1:00pm EST. Believe me when I tell you that this is not your typical hunting show this season. Thank you to all for watching and making our show most enjoyable.
As we prepare for the resurrection of Christ this Easter Sunday, I can't help but think of all the pain and suffering that he endured on the cross for us to show his great love
It is a great time of celebration.
I don’t know how many have been watching the History channels Bible episodes but I have not missed an episode. I like how they portrayed the story and the narration points were amazing.
Have a Blessed Easter, Enjoy your Church and Enjoy your Family as we all celebrate God’s Love and Jesus’ strength and love for us.
God Bless you and yours
Mel
The Spring Turkey season is approaching fast. Man it gets my blood pumping. Last season we had a total of 3 turkey harvests on film two shotgun for Kenny, and 1 with a bow from Me.
Because it is getting closer I urge you to get out there and enjoy one of God's most spectacular creations....the great outdoors.
With Hunting season soon there will be hunting classes in the state given by Kentucky Department of Fish and WIldlife. Take a look, get youth involved with the outdoors. It's not really just so the sport of hunting survives but both children and adults will remember their time in the woods better than their time sitting in the house.

Come on we all need it! Yes I am talking about the "E" word. Sometimes when the weather gets cold I am more apt to sit around. I then realize that a body that stays in motion remains in motion. With Archery it is no different. Just because it is the off season is not excuse not to fling a couple of arrows. What I like to do is walk around my neighborhood to get my heart rate up. Then fling a few arrows. If I can't make it outside then I walk up and down my steps in the house to get the heart rate up then fling the arrows.
Other good exercises for archery training are dumbell flies and lat pulls.
Field staff section has been updated today.
Just checked on one of my winter food plots today and was very happy with the results. Hafner and sons in cincinnati Ohio really knows how to engineer seeds for food plots. I pulled one of the largest turnips measuring almost 6inches across. Yes deer will eat well this winter!
First church of Christ in Burlington Ky is having a boar roast wild game dinner on this Saturday November 3rd 6:00pm. Door prizes and raffles all hunting related items. Come bring the family have a good time and fellowship. Mel
We are very excited to welcome one of the most amazing companies in the industry as one of our 2012/2013 team sponsors.
In the past I have used so called baking soda based odor treatments for hunting. I have heard of Nose Jammer in the past couple of years but it wasn't until I recieved a sample of the product that I got to try it out. Well on one single hunt this past week, my Daughter and I harvested (3) Coyotes in one day less that 15 yards from us. I can testify without a doubt that this is one of those products that most deffinately works. I have continued to use it since then and have taken yet another Coyote and a Whitetail doe in less than 7 yards with my bow. So it is with great excitement that we announce our partnership to represent Fair Chase products this season. Thank you!
